The Public Services Industry Review (BERR) published

The Public Services Industry (PSI) Review, led by Dr DeAnne Julius, was published on 10 July 2008.
The Public Service Industry includes "all private and third sector enterprises that provide services to the public on behalf of Government or to the Government itself". The review provides a factual basis on which to define and PSI and reviews the lessons learned about private and third sector delivery of public services in the UK. The review’s findings have been welcomed by BERR and a Government response is currently being coordinated for publication in Autumn 2008.
